New! Math Support (Corequisite) Courses
Do you need to take a college-level math course (for example MATH 146: Statistics), but your placement is too low?
Starting Fall 2023, students who place below college level math will take a support course and a college level course at the same time.
The support course, also known as a corequisite course, is a course taken in the same quarter as a college-level math course, designed to help students succeed in that college-level course. This replaces the traditional method of having a prerequisite course the quarter before the college-level course.
